I never played Brick in Borderlands, but judging from the pictures you posted, Brick has a big scar on his left cheek and the new guy doesn't. Unless it magically healed...

@InternetJames: That sucks. I wouldn't recommend this to everyone, but if you really have tried to contact them with no response for 3 weeks, you could try emailing Gabe Newell directly. From what I see and hear around the internet, he actually reads and responds to most user emails.

If you get your account back up and running, maybe you should start using your debit card on Steam directly instead of going through PayPal. No one's personal information has ever been lost from Steam as far as I know. You can trust them with it.

@Subject2Change: There was also a much smaller number of people farming and selling the items then. Most people would not put in the effort to become item sellers, and now they don't have to in order to compete. We'll see how it goes.

Go ahead and do your little breakdown, but please keep in mind that you are going to be in a miniscule minority so remember that when writing up your next blog and wondering why a bunch of people think you're crazy and aren't taking you seriously.

@Meowshi: Jeff and Dave were talking about implementing a new message board on the radio show after last week's Happy Hour. Good news for you I guess, unless it is subscriber only.

Also, sorry to say this, but I love these forums and I think you are wrong on all points other than image embedding. And I guess sometimes when your cursor gets stuck inside a quote box and you want to say something down below it. Other than that, I hope they don't change it too much!

I hate to risk getting in the middle of these arguments, but I have to side slightly with the OP here. Over the last year or so I would say my enjoyment and appreciation for the site and the staff has gone from like a 9.5/10 to more like a 7/10. In the old office, I feel like anytime the guys had something interesting happen in their day, they would whip a camera out and share it with the community. Now all we get are Quick Looks and live streams, only some of which involve games or the GB guys. I still watch and mostly enjoy the Quick Looks, but getting a little bit of that variety back would really spruce things up around here.

I've heard some online claim that there are laws in place in China and some other Asian countries that outlaw any depiction of violence against pandas. I've heard others say that those laws are a myth. Seems like it would be a pretty big deal for Blizzard if those laws do exist. Weren't they already forced to not include the Pandaren Brewmaster pet in the Chinese version of WoW or something like that?

Edit: I did a bit of research and it seems that China only originally disliked the Pandaren because they were shown in traditional Japanese clothing? Probably not a big deal for this news then.
