I agree with this statement. If the OP cares about his friend. He needs to have a conversation with her about what is going on. Not try to push her to like stuff that he likes.

Red Dead Redemption for PS3. It was the time I was playing through Irish's missions. The cutscene on the first mission -A Frenchman, a Welshman and an Irishman- would skip and not let me save Irish from being kill. Resulting in mission failure. On the second mission with Irish, I had to follow him on horse to some mines. The horses would sink to the ground and would not move. I completed every other story mission up to that point and went on side quests to work around the problem. That second mission with Irish would not let me advanced through the game. I should have kept more than one save file. I restarted the mission several times and tried resetting the console. I lost count how many times I did that but I just gave up. The game was a rental and I didn't have time to restart the game again from the beginning. It was unfortunate that it happened but I still enjoyed the time I got to play the game.

It doesn't matter, there are some parents who don't know that exist or care. I worked at the electronics counter at a retail store. Every tine I rung up an M-rated game. The register gives the age-restricted prompt and I tell the customer if they are aware that. Most of the time, they say, "fine or whatever". They will still buy the game.

ESRB does what it can to police the video game industry but I'm more bothered that the people who are give the ratings. They don't play the games and expect the publisher to provide them footage of the most offending parts. I'm not a parent and it is not my responsibility to raise other people's kids. I just hope kids are being taught to be responsible for their own action. They know that making bad choices have consequences. To know the difference reality and fantasy. I know that sounds like foolish idealism but I believe in hope. I can't worry about things I have no control over.

The title of this thread is more inflammatory than the tweet it was based on. I find this post to be accusatory and misleading. The tweet doesn't provide an explanation why the author found the game to be sexist. There are plenty of other games that are blatantly misogynist but ICO isn't one of them. There are better ways to address and discuss the role of women in that game.

Rag Doll Kung Fu: There was a special promotion two years ago that I can download the game for free. The game is ugly to look at and was no fun to play. If the cursor was selected on the game on the XMB, a cover of the song of Kung Fu fighting played loudly on loop. I thought it was going to be fun since it was made by some of the people who made Little Big Planet but I was wrong. I immediately deleted the game.

I graduated with a BFA in Communication Design. Its another word for graphic design. For some reason people seem to confuse that with Mass Com.

The one I like the most the second one. Logos should be designed in Illustrator as a vector graphic. Vector images can be easily re-sized and have clean lines. The problem with raster images is they pixelate or blur more when enlarged. I hope this helps you and good luck.

While some people think that toddler fighting rings are funny. What is sad are incidents of abuse not being reported. Coming from the day care or the home. Imagine a parent who sent their kid to that day care and to find bruises on them. It would be upsetting to know that the people who were intrusted with the lives of kids would do such a thing.
