I'm not in a place in my life where I'm all too bothered about this type of stuff anymore. If they look worth watching I will, if they don't I wont. They could release 20 a month, I don't care, it doesn't bother me, it's pointless being bothered by movies.

So I will say that that in a twist of fate, this will make $742 million dollars.

Scratched my ear so hard I snapped the cartilage. There is that little nub that protects your inner ear, and I had a scratch slightly in the ear canal, near where that part attaches. I was scratching really hard and I heard a pop noise. There was no pain, just a noise, so I stopped, then sometime later I started to hear some crunchy noises right there, and it was pieces of cartilage rubbing together where I had snapped it. So imagine right in your ear, whenever you go to move your head, you hear a crunchy grindy noise, almost like the noise a record player makes before the first song/after the last song, when it's just grinding on the part of the record that contains no info.

This actually wasn't that long ago, it's healing, there really isn't much that can be done about it, but it's super slow to heal, and is prone to reopen. All because I scratched eagerly.

@maelstromtear: Hah, that is a very good point, it's like the rules of survival in Scream, but for games. Don't ever write a journal or you are dead and it's your own bloody fault.

Journal Entry #3032: I've been hearing scary noises at night, they sound like they are headed right for me, oh no they ARE headed right for me! As I currently write this journal entry the scary monster noises are inside my room, but I'll keep writing this journal I will! Now I see the scary monster noises are indeed attached to actual monsters! I know this because they are eating my flesh! Stop eating my flesh scary monsters! You're interrupting my journal writing! Well, I guess I'm dead now, that sucks.

Like a lot of people in this thread, it depends, it's not a flat out yes or no, some writing is abysmally silly, some really adds to the lore and is almost addicting to unlock and read.
More people write journals and diaries in video games than in real life that's for sure.

That's why I opened an Amazon seller account and eBay account.
I can sell my used games for the price I think they are worth, instead of getting low-balled by EBgames.
Amazon and eBay take their cut of course, but it's still better than EB.

I've had 2 and I messed both of them up.
When I was really young I figured out I was dreaming, don't know how, it just came to me, and in the dream I exclaimed out loud that I was dreaming, someone in the dream said "then how could you feel this?" and kicked my testicles real hard, and even though I knew I was dreaming it hurt anyways, and because I was a real dumb 12 year old (or there about) I panicked because I thought I was in a coma, and started trying to wake myself up, and eventually did.

The 2nd time it happened, this time in my 20's, in the dream I saw my mom sitting on our couch, which would be almost impossible for her, so impossible I figured out it was a dream and got excited, so excited I instantly woke myself up.

My dad is really into this stuff right now, so he has a bunch of books laying around and stuff about it he's trying to learn, so maybe I'll pick up on it and try for another go.
It wouldn't bother me too much to never have one again, or one I don't ruin again, my dreams, which are mostly nightmares, are fun to have for me.
If I have a dream with zombies in it, I get to be terrified while having that dream. If I knew it was a dream, sure I could treat it like a video game, but I have video games already, I like feeling the emotion of the dream, no matter how stupid it is when I wake up.

There's obviously some funky trailer editing there, Kylo's hand reaching out to Rey is pure trailer shenanigans, I just hope Kylo about to shoot Leia isn't.

It's more Star Wars, I'll see it, I wont love it, I wont hate it, magic space swords. Bzzzzzz thhwp.

Gotta love corporate speak, just for once it would be wild for a company to be honest. No “fundamental shifts in the marketplace” bullcrap, just straight up say. "We wanted another cash cow, we love money, money money money, we love it so much, we stick it up our butts, money."

I used to be addicted to them, lost sleep, bought bad games just to get them, dedicated hours and days and weeks to getting a meaningless number slightly bigger.
I got over that eventually though and could give no shit about them now.

At this point the only way I might go for one, is if it's tied to something in the game that might unlock something (kill zombies, get a weapon, Dead Rising) which I would do anyways regardless. Or if I love the game so much I just want to 100% everything and leave no rock unturned, which is super rare (Bloodborne).
