For how much shit audio logs have gotten recently I was floored at how good of a reception Audio Logs: The Game (also known as Gone Home) got.

I think the people claiming that there's no reason for any unrest are just as bad as the people screaming "oh god femnazi will ruin everything."

She said she was hired as a community manager and art director. Her art is subpar and on her first day on the job as CM she lied to the community. Those are extremely valid reasons to be upset as a backer.

I think the writers made it terrible. Joel proved he could be a good host when he hosted Ubisoft's E3 conference. The terrible VGX writers who decided to merge the VGAs and The Soup are the ones to blame.

@brich: I don't understand why Microsoft would have had to be competitive with their prices. Why would it be any different than it is today? Right now you can buy a resellable disc at retail or a nonresellable digital copy from the Microsoft store and 99 times out of 100 the Microsoft store is the worse deal, even if you're not buying used.

In the All Digital Future we missed you could either buy a resellabe (with added restrictions) disc at retail or a nonresellable digital copy from Microsoft. Not too different than it is today, so why would Microsoft suddenly chop prices like Valve does on Steam?

NFS is still a really fun game, just don't go into it thinking it'll be a grand interconnected multiplayer game like Jeff did (I had the same expectations and consider the review and score spot on).
