Project Winter is a great 8 person multiplayer survival game where friends betray each other to win the game. The game is all about lying, and convincing others who the two traitors are out of the 8 survivors.
The object of the game as a survivor is to repair objectives, and escape by helicopter, submarine, or a ground vehicle. One person can leave the game early by escaping on the pod, but it leaves the rest of the survivors short handed. No one knows who is a survivor, and who is a traitor. Building trust with other players is the best strategies to successfully accomplishing the goals as a survivor, or traitor.
The role of the two traitors is to get survivors to turn against each other, exile each other, or kill each other so the goals of escaping is unsuccessful. They work together to try to kill the survivors, and prevent them from escaping by either being killed, freeze, or starve to death.
It offers in game voice communications so everyone is able to chat with each other so the deception is very realistic. The traitors start off with walkie talkies so they can communicate with each other no matter where they are, and survivors can't hear. Survivors initially can only talk to each other when in close range until they gather enough materials, and craft a walkie talkie themselves. They can than spy on the traitors by determining their voices, and who they are.
Project Winter enables the ability to craft weapons, food, mines, radios, guns, scraps for repair, first aid kits, and more.
