Looks like they want you to hold onto their game and not sell it back after you complete the main story to stop some used sales. Unfortunately, if the content isn't meaningful people won't hold onto it. Interesting tactic, let's see if it pays off.
as good as I thought Prototype was, it was a one-and-done type of game. There's nothing there to keep you invested in the title unless you really, really liked Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.
I didn't even finish the first game. The difficult ramped to such unfun levels near the end that I just uninstalled it. I was apparently only 1-2 missions away from the end, too. It's the only single player game I can remember that I've ever ragequit.

Boy did you do the right thing then. I did not find the endgame hard at all, having had upgraded a lot of my shit. But that last boss fight made me rage nonetheless. Not quit mind you, but I punched my door and swore a lot :)

I was heavily upgraded from what I remember, but the specific level that made me quit was the one where you start out being chased by the superhuman whatever soldiers and a bunch of helicopters shooting heat seeking missiles at you that caused knockback. So you couldn't fly/wallrun away from them because they'd track you and hit you anyway, and once you lost health you couldn't get on the ground to consume people to heal because the missiles or the superhuman guys would knock you out of the consume animation.
Some challenge based content with leaderboards instead of some weak tacked on multiplayer, Just an incentive for early adopters of the game. Sign me up :) Better then them have it available as day 1 dlc and charging for it
