While waiting for this game, think of what will be the settings.
For example, I would hope that Alex Mercer, the protagonist of the first game, will still be playable.

Prototype 2
I like both inFamous and Prototype. I don't know why there is a game war between them, they play really differently. Yes the setting is similar in both but the actual reason for the quarantine in either game is completely different.
inFamous - Giant explosion scares the shit out of the government. Government closes city.
Prototype - Corporation makes a disease that causes people to become monsters. Government closes city.
Also, I don't think Alex will be playable. Considering he is the antagonist after all.
In the first Prototype Alex seemed evil from the beginning. He never cared about the civilians and all he wanted was revenge. That and you could drive tanks down streets and run over people. Or if that's not your style you could steal helicopters and go Gi-had on the civilians.

@Twitchey: How about think of the ending for Prototype 2?For me, since Cole dies in inFamous 2 and that is the true ending, the ending should be James dies with Alex.
how bout James & Alex gets it on and create lil prototype babies.
or a teaser for P3 where you play some hispanic dude.
@Fanboy:
Dante was evil in DMC4? I thought in DMC4 he was just a victim of shitty writing.
Cmon guys. Sure, Infamous is WAY better than Prototype, but A) Prototype is still fun, and B) You don't have to be a fucking dick about it. Dude just wants to talk about Prototype 2.
Since Alex Mercer is the villain of Prototype 2, I see very little possibility for him to be playable. Also I thought he was a terrible character with an awful look, so it's not exactly something I'm dying to do.
I find Infamous's story weak enough to not care all that much but others might not feel the same way when they click that open expecting a Prototype related spoiler.
@Fanboy: You should've clarified that your spoiler was for Infamous 2 and not Prototype.
Agreed, I was unintentionally spoiled…
You need to use spoilers for your posts! People could still be waiting to pick up Red Dead Redemption and if they see your post otherwise they're going to have the story ruined for them. I enjoyed the RDR story but it would have been so much better had something like this not happened to me as well. And on the very same website too, actually.
Prototype was a decent enough game but I know that a lot more could be done with it. If they leave vehicles in the game but allow you to use more than just the military hardware it would be exciting. If it was possible to steal a car or something to use as a method of driving right past enemies without arousing suspicion I think that would be an interesting touch. Obviously, it would draw some comparisons to the Grand Theft Auto franchise though. I'm not really the most qualified to talk here because of the fact I do not remember much of Prototype. I dstinll think it should be called "Prototype 2.0" though, just to fit with the whole concept of version numbers and prototypes.
I like the direction THQ's Saint Row is going, with V-Tols and wrestling moves performed on NPCs...maybe something like that?

Me too. Damnit! I really want to play that game, but I hate having endings spoiled.
Edit: Okay, what the fuck? @Fanboy said:
@Twitchey: Well, I'm hoping
Alex will absorb James and becomes playable for the rest of the game. You know, like when John Marston dies in the second to the last mission of Red Dead Redemption, his son Jack, who looks like him as an adult, is playable for the remainder of the game.
Why don't you spoiler alert your posts, or at least clarify what you are spoiling for. Sure, RDR is a year old, but maybe someone hasn't played through it yet.
Man. I played both and got tired of both towards the end, but Infamous was by far the worst of the two in my estimation. Prototype was over the top silly and fun, while Infamous took itself too seriously and was incredibly boring and repetitive. Much preferred the fast paced action in Prototype.Sure, Infamous is WAY better than Prototype
@OP: I don't really care about the setting or story of the new game, as long as they ramp up the craziness.

I hope Prototype 2 pulls an Assassin's Creed 2. I love using Assassin's Creed 2 as an analogy.
That's what was missing from Prototype was collecting feathers for your mom.
Or having an Uncle Mario.@RoyCampbell said:
