Psion

Psions are a species of psychically-empowered beings who were conquered and enslaved by the Cabal in the hopes of weaponizing their abilities. They now primarily serve as engineers, pilots and fire support within the Cabal Legions. Those within the Calus' Shadow Legion would later be reshaped by The Witness into Attendants and Weavers in it's Dread forces.

Alien

Extraterrestrials appear in many video games in a variety of styles. Sometimes they're evil, sometimes they're benevolent, and sometimes they're very similar to humans.
Cabal

The Cabal are a militaristic alien race in the Destiny universe, a species built around conquest, combat, and empire.
Enslaved Race

People of a different race or skin color, that are chastised and frowned upon for being different in culture or appearance.
Psionics

Psionics, psychic abilities or mind powers, Are abilities either supernatural or through technology that use the brain/mind to manifest powers. These can include Telepathy, Psychokinesis, Pyrokinesis, etc.

Psychic abilities are featured in many different video games and in many forms, from the PSI powers of Ness from Earthbound to the mind-reading abilities of Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid.
Red Legion

The Red Legion is an elite Cabal Legion once led by Dominus Ghaul. They invaded Earth seeking to claim the Traveler as their own in a conflict called the "Red War". In the aftermath of the Red War, the Legion would fracture into splinter groups under various leaders such as Val Ca'uor, Valus Thuun and The Psion Flayer Council. Most of the remnants of the Red Legion now serve under Empress Caiatl, Ghaul's Daughter, And are now allied with Humanity and the Eliksni "House of Light" in The Coalition.
Shadow Legion

The Shadow Legion (also known as the Dark Cabal) are a Cabal Legion that act as enforcers to the newly risen Disciple of The Witness, Emperor Calus and possess Pyramid tech to suppress the Guardian's powers. After the fall of Calus they now act as support for The Witness' Dread forces.
The Dread

The Dread are an army of Darkness-wielding entities created by the Witness. They consist of beings reshaped by the Witness into their "perfected" form, with its Disciples serving as a genetic blueprint for some Dread units (Tormentors shaped after Nezarec, Subjugators shaped after Rhulk), and remnants of other subjugated species transfigured into its army using stolen Light from the Traveler.
