Hey everyone, after learning that @jeff recieved a copy from a fan, who else here are PPT fans or own a copy? Post your online name below and maybe we can get a tournament going?

Japanese version available region free on PS4 and XBONE. (Disc only)

2017: Worldwide, localized release for Nintendo Switch and PS4.

The highlight would be the swap mode, where your game of puyo puyo or tetris swaps every 25 or so seconds.

If you end up with the game and do not like guessing through Japanese menus here are translated pictures of the menus for your entertainment (or for a quick look) Pictures! Yay!

I just ordered the vita version off play asia. I'm super excited although it wont show up for a few weeks.

I imported it after reading a bit and seeing it pop up on the QL. Would love to participate

After seeing the quick look I REALLY want to check it out. The mixed mode looks like a blast (the one where it's Tetris and Puyo Puyo on the same screen, not the one where it swaps). When I get a PS4 I just might have to import it. Last time I considered importing something was Dragon Ball GT on the PS1.

Looks cool but not 70$ cool.

Also- it's insane that this may not be released worldwide, it looks fun and I'd like to think that if someone makes a good game, he's able to release it everywhere and earn more money. You know- globalization, consumptionism, etc.

Look, Nintendo, my dawg. If something like Monument Valley is like $5, then Captain Toad's should be $10-$15 tops. I mean, I get it, Nintendo's digital games like Dr. Luigi and NES Remix probably get buriedsales-wise because I'd guess Nintendo owners don't necessarily turn on the Wii U's every week nor do they check the store every week, but releasing Captain Toad's as a $40 retail game still seems insane to me.

Just ordered it for Xbox One from Play-Asia based on the bombcast discussion alone. Haven't even seen the quicklook yet! The internet is too dangerous for the safety of my monies.

I picked the Vita version up while in Japan in July. I've been playing through the story mode on that and loved it SO much that I got a Japanese friend to ship me the Xbox One version over Christmas.

The only thing I want to know is if there is an option to increase the speed of the tetris blocks in the menus somewhere.

After watching the QL of this game, I am probably going to wind up importing it.

I am a huge fan of this, but never played it, and probably won't be able to. Instead I stumbled on a super cheap copy of Tetris Battle Gaiden on ebay so in 1-2 months I'll be kicking it game genie pass through style.

Never played Puyo Puyo before, but I ordered a PS4 copy from YesAsia, super excited. I would definitely play in a tournament when my copy arrives, whenever that is. PSN is mvdlippe. Finally a real justification for buying two PS4 controllers!

I'm in the same boat with a lot of folks on this thread: after watching the QL of this yesterday, I immediately looked on PlayAsia for a PS4 copy, which they were sold out of. But! eBay had several new PS4 copies for $58 and free shipping, so in a few weeks I should be te-tu-rus-ing with the rest of ya!

Doctor Dog is named I after the I Tetris piece.

Tetris Robot is Z for the same reason.

Fish is named Suketoudara (Alaska Pollock)

T is the Prince of Tetris

The main villain is literally Satan (in the Puyo Puyo mobile game there's Santa Satan)

Well my copy is ordered through Play-Asia although is yet to ship and site says back in stock come 17th so guessing I perhaps ordered on the cusp of them going out of stock?
