After releasing several successful games in the Commandos series, Pyro went on to release Praetorians and Imperial Glory, both of which were generally well received. They then released Commandos: Strike Force, a first person shooter with strategy elements and a vast departure from the hardcore strategy roots of the series. Unsurprisingly the game was met with harsh reviews. Since then Pyro has been working on casual and mobile games, with several releases on iOS and Android. So far they have insisted that they have no plans to revive the Commandos series.
