    Quadrant Cursor

    Concept »

A cursor seen mostly in puzzle games, often covering 2x2 tiles/blocks/gems etc. and usually moving 1 tile ( ¼ of the cursor area) and rotating 90° which moves any pieces within the cursor.

    Short summary describing this concept.

A variable of the Quadrant Cursor would be Tetris Attack and Planet Puzzle League (Puzzle de Pon type games) in which the cursor covers two tiles across, and swaps over two tiles rather than rotating over four. However other games which have a similar 'Swap and Match' Mechanic such as Lumines and Puzzle Quest Galactrix should not be added to this page since the pieces are manipulated directly or the cursor is used in a different way.
