After watching the TNT, I've been thinking about jumping into some Quake III. My PC is a little ratty though (about 6 years old), so I'm not sure if it could handle it. I do have a Macbook Pro, but it sounded like I had to jump through some hoops to get it to play on a Mac. If I purchase the Steam version, can I make that play on my Macbook? Or do I need an original disc copy?

If you purchased the steam version , first you need to check in the store if your game is compatible with MAC OS , if it is you"ll see a windows icon and a MAC OS icon....
