Wait!? Quantum  Theory is coming out in 5 days?! Since when!? Guess no ones showing the game any love since I haven't heard one thing about it for how long. It's probably going to be an epic fail. Sad. Who's buying it?..... Better question. Who's heard of it?

Oh shit, I have to update my ps3 again to play the demo. I'm sure the game is terrible, won't get more than 75% gamerankings.

I wasn't too impressed with the demo. The textures looked kinda glossed over in a plastic-sense, and the environment feels empty. Gameplay-wise, the enemies' ability to take cover is neat, but the aiming doesn't feel good, at least for my tastes. The second part of the demo with the AI co-op totally turned me off after being presented with too many instruction screens. I don't know, maybe that mechanic is fun once you learn it, but the game had too many bad marks against it for me to deal with that shit.

The Vanquish demo was a way better Japanese take on the third person shooter.
Though there was something oddly compelling about the fiction of Quantum Theory. It seemed so deliciously nonsensical.

I have to say, the game could have been a last mediocre in my opinion. The graphics are what really killed it for me. Everything was so bland and just seemed to blend in with everything else, the characters, the architecture, the enemies. It was hurtful on the senses.

Apparently its only okay to copy something popular verbatim when you do it with an already established IP.

so glad i rented this game,as i didnt even finish it because it was so generic and boring. 

it just looks too....generic. i mean, singularity and darksiders weren't the epitome of originality but they were still high quality games, this one looks a bit...finicky.

Quantum theory gets no love lost, no love found.

I honestly don't care that it's a Gears of War clone, and I don't think anybody else does, either. But the game is just shit, so it deserves to be ridiculed.

Oh dear, this game tries to ape Gears so badly and fails at almost EVERYTHING... the cover sucks, the weapons all suck, I can't see any reason to play this game than to laugh at how dreadful it is, this doesn't reach the same level of hilarity as, say, Crash Time did. Sorry if I upset any of the clearly numerous fans of the game, hehe.

This game is terrible

Wow, a lot of hate for one game, but it deserves it. 
It's like two final fantasy games had an in-bred, deformed child and then the gears of war games did the same thing. 
Then one night these two in-breds get drunk and make the biggest mistake. They make Quantum Theory.  
Let this be a warning to any future developers.

I'm playing it right now and the only reason I keep doing so, is because I like to finish my games, once I start them... but I really, really do regret having bought something this terrible.

You know, when a game comes out and it gets many low scores in the reviews, I like to check it by myself, because I usually disagree with them.

Well, Quantum Theory is an exception, and a huge one: it has no redeeming qualities. It's a true nightmare.
