I'm not sure how I feel about this. First they show off a lot of First Blood stuff which is awesome but then again the gameplay they do show looks really rough to the point where I wondered if it was an iPad game. But of course it's not. The game is coming out on current gen platforms this winter.

EDIT: Also what's all this bullshit with John killing American soldiers and policemen? Ugh, on second thought they shouldn't have touched First Blood.

And it's true that in all of First Blood, Rambo only ever kills one dude, and that's the crazy cop that's shooting at him from the helicopter.

Ummmm, why is this game coming out now? Is there a Rambo movie coming out which I'm not aware of? The last one was released years ago. Also, the game looks like crap.

Look at the enemies at 1:10. They are just standing there, waiting to be blown up.

I had no idea this game was coming out. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, although I'm not expecting much from it.

but the rest of the video which is non-gameplay cutscenes looks good enough, makes me nostalgic for Rambo. too bad we can't play cutscenes.

This seems weird. Does it have Jerry Goldsmith music in the game? Do I get to recreate the stealth section in the mud against the Russians? Do I have to do a weird sewing myself up minigame? Does It's a long road play over the credits?Who knows... this looks like shit, but the kind of shit that my insane love for First Blood part 2 is intrigued by.

Is Segata Sanshiro involved in promoting this one?

Apparently there is a Rambo V in development, but I doubt that it's coming out anywhere near this winter. I have no idea as to why this game exists. I've never understood it when game publishers decide not to publish nearly completed games at the last minute, but now I kind of do.
