So I picked up a copy of Red Faction Armageddon and this is the worst FOV I've seen in a game in a long time, WTF..... default ts set to 45.....

The FOV was one of the things that turned me away from the 360 version. I'll be sure to change the FOV if I ever get the game on PC. 75 is too high but 49 looks good. From the link you gave, it looks like I could tweak it to my liking though. Thanks for the tip.

Sorry to dig up an old-ass topic, but the "fix" I found on the 360 version is just to jack up the camera/aiming sensitivity. Since the game has an auto aim function (button), there's no real reason for precision aiming. Since you are mostly surrounded by aliens, it really just speeds up the process of being able to successfully hit all of the points around you without getting too swamped.
