Red Lemon Studios was a British developer formed in August 1996. It was founded by Laurent Noel, Andy Campbell and Andy Findlay. They had all worked in Gremlin Interactive, Noel having worked on the hugely popular Actua Soccer PC game. They were based in Glasgow and were touted as the leading developer in Scotland. Red Lemon showcased a surprising, high-business approach to games development and moved into a high-tech new HQ in 1998. Their slogan during this period was "it's a game thing".

The company's first games were released in 1999. Aironauts, for the PlayStation and Braveheart, an ambitious PC RTS based on the movie.

In 2000, Noel sold his stake in the company and, despite restructuring, the company went bankrupt in 2003.
