Resident Evil 5 follows series alum Chris Redfield as he journeys into West Africa with his new partner, Sheva Alomar, fighting Las Plagas-infested enemies called the Majini.
Alright, thank you. I had heard conflicting reports from every source I went to. So how is it activated? Do you just have the two controllers going when you start up the game or what?
Just be warned that it does not split the screen entirely, there's a black space with nothing on the edge. It doesn't really get in the way of gameplay, but I thought you should know.
I dont really have a choice. I've got a friend who cant afford the game right now and I really want to play co-op with him, so this is what we do."
It's not that bad. Christ.
You'll acclimate to the screen organization and it will play fine. The framerate is good, the textures take a minor hit (since everything is rendered twice, basically), but it's still a really enjoyable experience.
Yeah, they didn't want the horizontal view range to be reduced (or whatever the technical wording for it is, I'm tired) so the two screens are in their own little panes, it doesn't take full advantage of your screen, but maintains the original aspect ratio. It's better that way, as long as you have a fair sized TV :D
The games decent with a friend, but as Jukezypoo points out the scaling of the screen is rather annoying tried it on my 22" TV first wasn't good at all, just seem really small and towards the end of the game me and my friend both agreed that the camera had zoomed out from our character a little and it was unplayable so I stole my bigger 32" TV from home and hooked it up to that was a hell of alot better.
