If you can kill enemies in one hit with the stun rod it means one thing. You're playing on a low difficulty. So no, the shock rod is not great nor loved. That would be the 500 Magnum or the Infinite Rocket Launcher.

the stun rod is a good weapon at normal difficulty...i used it whenever an enemy came close or when i just needed to conserve ammo...
