    Too Many campaigns 6

I've been a huge fan of Resident Evil since Resident Evil 4. I know it's not survival horror or anything like that, but really it didn't matter, I just liked the gameplay and the suspense. I've enjoyed Resident Evil 5.

The Good: We got a Resident Evil game on this generation of consoles. The graphics on this game are really great especially for this console. I don't play many video games but I find the lighting in this game spectacular. You can finally move and shoot. Leon and Chris in the same game! crazy! (see later)

The Bad: First of all, I wanted to love this game. I really really did. I have been waiting for it since they announced it. First of all the controls feel clunky. If I hit the melee button while the zombie is slowly making his way towards me, I think I should be the one who has the first hit not them. Crawling/Climbing with the triggers is the worst thing ever, I'm pretty sure that what they show on the screen is reversed and so I had to just map the triggers to my character. Seriously, there needs to be more diverse villains and bosses. This game had bosses that were re-used over and over. The J'avo and the zombies in this game suck. What happened to the germ based las plagas. I was actually frightened when I pop off their head and something came out in RE 4&5. And the blind guy with the claws, that's actually scary especially when you're locked in with him. This game had no true story, and there wasn't one true villain. There was story only to bring partners from point a to b. Also, capcom probably killed off another character I started to like, Piers. Piers wasn't special until he took the virus and used it on himself. He's basically like Krauser and he totally had the chance of becoming an interesting character. So every game since four they've killed my favorite characters. Krauser, Wesker, and Piers. Piers' death is also stupid because they were going through a character arc with Chris because Chris has a history for failing to save teammates and this time he was going to save piers no matter what. but like a hipocrite piers dies.

My last gripe is the inability to buy or upgrade weapons. I loved buying weapons in RE 4 &5, I don't see why they couldn't bring it back. Replay-ablity would be increased with different pistols, shotguns. ETC.

Verdict: This game could potentially be fixed through updates, but it still doesn't fix the story. Hopefully they'll go more character focused and actually focus on one cohesive story. Please add weapon buying capcom. as for my favorite characters who died, please just bring them into mercenaries especially krauser and his bow.

Resident Evil 6 Review: Giraffe Cock 0

Resident Evil is one of the most prestigious series in gaming, and has produced what many consider the most iconic survival horror games in history courtesy of its past entries. After many years of great success the series was becoming repetitive, but Resident Evil 4 was a revolution that rejuvenated the franchise. Altering the established fundamentals of what had become a stagnant series, Resident Evil 4 was a stunning success which set a new standard for third person action games and managing ...

When a game loses its soul, it loses everything. 0

On the third main title after rebooting the series into a more action-oriented third person shooter with horror elements Resident Evil seems to have forgotten lessons learned with the fourth and fifth iterations as well as the minimal necessary to make a Resident Evil. While Resident Evil 4 was still the series we all learned to love, Resident Evil 5 was more of a “great game, mediocre RE”. This time there’s absolutely no excuse, Resident Evil 6 isn’t a good game by any ...
