Somehow, I totally managed to fool myself into thinking that this can be played co-op locally, with one player on the gamepad, and the other on the TV with a pro controller.

I bought the game and a pro controller specifically to play RAID mode with my housemate.

It cannot be played this way.

I am clearly a bumbling Idiot.

At least you have a pro controller now.

Now you have the perfect set-up to play ZombiU multiplayer :)

Somehow I was starting to feel betrayed by Capcom for it not being a feature. How could they do this to me after I've spent all this money in a fanciful fever rush!?

@tehpickle: Yeah no need to kick yourself for this.. it sucks that you lost 75 pounds, but you're not the first person to be tricked this way and you won't be the last.

I've done stuff like this multiple times this generation. Developers should really make local multiplayer/co-op an option more often.

I mean, you were probably gonna need a pro controller eventually. It's not like you wasted money on something that is completely useless to you. Overall this isn't that big of a fuck up.

The best thing is that you'd have to both play through the game in single player to unlock all the maps.

I once bought a usb keyboard to plug into my PS2 so I could input cheat codes into Age of Empires II. Man that was stupid.

When in doubt, check Miiverse or go to the Giant Bomb page for Two-Screen Multiplayer that I try to keep up-to-date.

It sucks that this wasn't included, probably wasn't worth the extra time to put it in. No other reason it's not there, really.
