Overview
Resident Evil: Survivor 2 - Code Veronica is the second game in the Gun Survivor series. Although the game has no bearing on the actual Resident Evil plot, it features characters and enemies that were in Code Veronica and also features the Nemesis T-type.
Gameplay
Players have either the option of choosing to play as Claire or Steve Burnside (A main character in Code Veronica) with a two play cooperative mode available in players choose to play together. The gameplay is slightly different than the original Gun Survivor game in the fact that it plays more like a traditional first person shooter rather than having a manual crosshair.
The game runs on a timer in which the players must advance through the levels however, if the timer counts down to zero, Nemesis will appear and easily dispose of the player unless an exit is reached quickly. There are two unlockable characters in Chris Redfield and Rodrigo Juan Raval, in which the player must reach level 6 in Dungeon Mode on Inferno difficulty to unlock Chris and complete it completely to unlock Rodrigo.
Plot
Claire Redfield is looking for her brother Chris and was tipped by an unknown source to go to Umbrella's Paris facility in order to locate him. During the infiltration mission she is captured, made prisoner and sent to Rockfort Island. The T-Virus is released and it is a battle for Claire to survive. Gun Survivor 2 does follow Claire's journey in her attempt to find her brother but it is actually a dream she is having after she escapes Antartica with him so therefore it is not identical to Code Veronica.
