This utter masterpiece is on sale! This game is just ridiculously amazing on the hilarity front, and hey, Deep Silver worked hard on crafting one of the worst games ever; I think everyone should buy it.
Ride to Hell: Retribution
Game » consists of 4 releases. Released Jun 24, 2013
Ride to Hell is a motorcycle gang-land action game that follows Jake Conway and his path of revenge against the brutal biker gang called "the Devil's Hand". Infamously, it is the second game ever to get a 1.0 from GameSpot, after only the truly broken Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.
$9.99 on Amazon!
Spending even one cent on that game would validate the work that deep-silver put into the title. I cannot, in good conscience, show any support for this game. This publisher has put out so much shit that I actually feel bad that the Saints Row / Wasteland 2/ Metro teams.

Oh, so now Deep Silver has developed it?

Well, according to the Wiki it was developed by three studios, one of them Deep Silver Vienna. But let's blame Deep Silver anyways, they published the damn thing!
But this game gave us one of the best QLs of all time, so I'm glad it exists.
This game was amazing in all the wrong ways. Good thing I got it for free from a friend of mine. Also, I am fairly sure this game gave my computer a virus.
@shinjin977: Yes it gave my pc AIDS as well...
It was actually $4.99 on Steam a few weeks ago. Decided I'd save myself the five and just skim the QL again.

it was a joke, just in case this was a sarcastic post. If not.......my condolences.
I should really go back and watch the quick look again. My old laptop crashed twice trying to load it so I never did see it.
I bought it. Starting my play-through now, already laughing like 10 minutes in. R.I.P.D. really should have won that category, specifically because Vinny didn't want it to win. That's why it was the real winner. This is a bad game that makes you laugh at least, which elevates it.
I think I'll just go watch the Quick Look again instead.
...Hmm, now that I think about it maybe it would be worth playing some of a game so bad. I need my bar of quality to be set so low that I'll be way more satisfied with mediocre games. It's a foolproof plan. I've discovered the successful secret to media consumption!
I have to admit that this game - while terrible in almost every possible way of measuring - was actually fairly entertaining to play through (largely unintentionally, I assume). I happen to think that it is well worth paying $10 for.

I do think there is actual merit to this. You really do need to play terrible games once in a while so you don't take for granted how tight the mechanics are in other games, or quality of voice acting, writing, etc.
Once in a while you need to play a game that lives up to the worst stereotypes of video games to really appreciate how there are a lot of great games out there.
Ok.... the back half of that game is brutally un-fun. The level design just gets ridiculous, the checkpointing even more absurd which just encourages you to figure out ways to break the intended flow of the game. Triggering a bunch of enemies, tracking back to the previous area, then picking them off with the headshots (and you will need nothing but headshots in this game) became my go-to tactic.

game's that bad, huh

Yep. It's so bad it's only Gamespot's 2nd 1.0 rated game.

Kinda wish this had became the next endurance run.
That would have been the best thing.
