Hey guys, just giving a heads up for anyone who wanted to try this new MMO. Trion is starting their open beta testing on Tuesday the 15th, the only thing you have to do in order to get in is register at their website. No beta keys needed.

my pc wont run it unfortunately, sucks too because this game looks pretty interesting.

It's great fun and before anyone says it, it's not a WoW clone, it's a lot closer to WAR and it's very polished. Worth trying.

Indeed. Warhammer was the first thing that came to mind when playing it. "

Warhammer had some great ideas, they were just implemented wrong and into a horrible engine.   Definitely going to give Rift a try. "

Rift gets a lot of those ideas right (public quests for example).  However, nobody that can talk about it has seen the end game.  That's where my last concerns lie. "

Any news on servers?  Might make sense to clan up

I just made an account, but don't have an invite to the beta yet. I might pre-order right from Trion so I can play the open beta today. From what I've seen, it looks fantastic. This is the type of game that can hold a strong server population. I know for sure that the hardcore Warhammer and Aion players are loving Rift so far, and Trio is doing a lot to reach out to the community and fix things. 
 
EDIT: Just got the email to download the client, installing and gonna hop on in a few!
