    This game is a must buy for me.  I only fear that with Dragon Age coming out in a couple weeks, my time will be split between 2 good rpgs.

    it looks pretty good, i might have to find some way around the banning of it in my country whilst still paying for it

    I can only afford Risen or Dragon Age, and so far I'm leaning towards Risen.  I played the demo on steam and it was good, I wasn't expecting a full RPG experience like that, complete with swords, herbs, raw meat, and frying pans.  I had never heard of it until I decided to check out some screenshots of it on Steam, looked good, and in the demo it all looked even better.  Yeah I think I'll buy it, because Dragon Age seems more gamey with it's character switching and whatnot, I just want a nice straight up role playing game.

    Do this in the demo.. As soon as you wake up on the beach, turn around and go as far as you can back into the ocean.

    The game is really fun. Though, I did get frustrated at the beginning because I died many many times and ended up losing 2 hours of progress one time because I forgot to save. I turned on god mode after that. 
    Even with god mode, it took me about 28 hours to beat the game. 
     
    The story gets awesomer later on but, the end boss fight is pretty lame.

    @Vager: Yes thankfully (or sadly?) I discovered that little gem on my own yesterday while exploring on the west coast of the island at night time :S I was surprised at how surprising it was hehe.
