Rising Star Games is a video game publisher started in 2004 as a joint venture between Nordic Nintendo distributor Bergsala (Company) and Japanese games publisher Intergrow (Company). Is is focused on bringing over Japanese games which otherwise would not have been released in the European region. So far they have distributed more than 50 games across all major consoles and handhelds. Notable games they have published or will publish include the No More Heroes (Franchise) series, Little King's Story, Deadly Premonition (Game), Vanillaware's Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Grand Knights History (Game), several of Cave's bullet hell shoot 'em ups and a range of games from the Harvest Moon (Franchise) and Rune Factory (Franchise) series. The publisher opened a US office in January 2012, and will start releasing games in North America this year.
