All the crazy articles and what not. I wonder what he has been up to.

Robert Pelloni
Bob, developer of Bob's game.
Does anyone else remember this crazy ass dude?
He has currently started a new company with Tim Rogers from Kotaku.com/gamesTM called Action Button Entertainment. The company apparently has 5 games in development and are currently based in Tokyo, Japan. Who knows what type of output we will see from this pair, they're both pretty... out there.
...So is this one of those "Frog Fractions 3" kinds of inside jokes of which I would have gotten due to being around for a while but missed it due to not having watched a certain video or not having listened to a certain Bombcast episode?
@facelessvixen:Definitely not a GB exclusive inside joke, more like a great internet weirdo of the 00s in the video game corners of the internet; there's a wikipedia page and everything. Many parts of the story would probably look so different if they happened a decade later.
@facelessvixen: The origins of the story predate Giant Bomb I think. Basically a guy obsessed with getting his game published on a Nintendo platform in the late '00s. The extent to which it was an act and to what extent he's actually crazy is an ongoing debate (probably mostly the latter.)
@magnetphonics: He was also covered on the site both in article form and on the podcast. See the 01-13-2009 Bombcast at 1:26:25.
Boo the user who bumped this ancient thread. GB really needs to autolock old threads.
