    From hmxhenry on rockband.com:

    Available on Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation®3 system (August 2nd , 2011):

    • Beastie Boys – “Make Some Noise”
    • Beastie Boys – “No Sleep till Brooklyn”
    • Heart – “Barracuda” X
    • James Brown– “Super Bad, Pts. 1 & 2” X
    • Rufus (ft. Chaka Khan) – “Tell Me Something Good ”

These tracks will be available for purchase as individual tracks on Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 system and Wii. Tracks marked with “X” will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

    Price:

$1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points) per song
    $2.00 USD (200 Wii Points™) per song
$0.99 USD (100 Wii Points/80 Microsoft Points), £0.59 UK, €0.79 EU per song for eligible Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade

"Barracuda!!!" Hell yes! I think I'll have to get the pro upgrade as well. Let's hope there's more Heart to come. I'd love to see "Crazy on You" and "Magic Man" playable.

I found "No Sleep 'till Brooklyn" to be really boring in GH:WT, so I'll probably skip that. I love soul, so I'll check the charts out, but I'm not sure I'll get either the James Brown or Rufus tracks.

edit: ok, so the announcement vid shows the horn solo of Super Bad charted to guitar. I really don't like it when they do that:

    Love me some Heart.

That's quite an odd solo to chart to guitar, especially considering there's a guitar part playing behind it.

Beastie Boys should just have their own Rock Band.
Fight For Your Right to Party
    Brass Monkey
    No Sleep Till Brooklyn
    So Whatcha Want?
    Intergalactic
    Pass the Mic
    3 MC's and 1 DJ
    Sabotoge
    Root Down
    Check It Out
    Sure Shot
    Body Movin'

Not a bad setlist for coming off the top of my head.

I would like if they put in some of the Beastie Boys hardcore stuff like when they 14,16  years old but then you might as well pick up a guitar and learn the songs. ( by no way am I bashing rock band or any other music game just some of their song choices boggle my mind with the level of simplicity of the songs.)

Beastie Boys and Heart? It's the ultimate combination of great sounds that go great together... maybe.

At least these Beastie Boys songs (which'll be no fun to play)  are optional this time >:(

Which one of their songs is it that has the Kerry King solo?

@sofacitysweetheart: "No Sleep till Brooklyn" has the Kerry King solo. I saw the playthrough vid. The harmonies almost make the song worth getting.
