    Get enough points....

    You need to time your Overdrive use well and miss as few notes as possible. Basically, think of if as six star rating.

    You can also only get gold stars when you're playing on expert. They won't show up on the lower difficulties, no matter how well you do.

    some of the songs don't have them, but thats very rarely that they dont
