I've been hoping for Incubus, who had a song in Guitar Hero II for download (Stellar), but there hasn't been any hints at this. :( I'm really hoping for most of the songs from S.C.I.E.N.C.E.

Rage Against the Machine would also be very fun, although I'd only take masters from them. No way I'm sitting through another horrid cover...the censorship might also ruin some of the songs, such as Guerrilla Radio. ;)

Oh, and you can never have too much Rush.

What I think Rock Band needs is some more Iron Maiden. Any song will do, I do really like The Trooper though. But if  I can't get that there is Disturbed and Nirvana.

I believe Harmonix said there was a problem concerning the master tracks for Iron Maiden. I don't listen to them, so I don't really mind if they don't get any future DLC, but I would most certainly check it out if they did.

Yes, they would. It would probably please a few more people for bass too since it often follows the guitar part.

I'd like to see Know Your Enemy, Freedom, and Guerrilla Radio (if it was left uncensored).

Anything by Tool but I seem to sense they would be unwilling to contribute any songs of theirs.  That is simply based on the fact that they haven't been in any games that I know of and according to my friends....they aren't even on iTunes. : O

    Whoa, that's strange, I didn't know they weren't on iTunes. : \

People have been requesting them for ages...I'm guessing Harmonix is having a hard time nabbing them like you said.

More Weezer and AC/DC, personally. Weezer has some reaaaal good songs that you could sing and are generally more on the "groove" side, while with AC/DC you could totally go all out with the solos and the drum solos and the vocal solos and more solos!

And, I wouldn't mind some OLP on there :)

Some more Coheed And Cambria master tracks or a CKY song. If you haven't heard CKY check them out their songs would be fun to play on rockband.

More Chili Peppers would be nice. Definitely their older stuff, though. I like the new stuff fine, but the older is better. And I would LOVE more Coheed and Cambria. :D

But again, I think they should add some bands we haven't heard from yet.

Sorry, denshuu, that is exactly what I said. :P

    • Everything by Ween.  Do it.
    • Stuff from Ron Jones era The Flaming Lips.
    • Some Pixies from their albums that don't suck, but more at this point would be overkill : (
    • Primus.  Something must've happened to the dude who got JtF in GH2.
    • Pavement.  Lots of good stuff.
    • White Zombie.  La Sexorcisto was such a delightful surprise - an entire album filled with songs that are just as infectious as TK '65 and Black Sunshine.  They could put it all up.  Rob Zombie singing would be sweet.
    • Totally in favour of more RHCP and Coheed too.  I was ecstatic about the "Best of Coheed & Cambria" fake announcement before I found out it was fake.

Realistically, I think that The Hold Steady would be the best choice for DLC.  Their music is very straight forward traditional rock and roll.  The only problem is that there are a few (thousand) references to drinking and drugs.  Seriously, though, listen to The Hold Steady.

okay, I'm lame, but how about some Relient K or mutemath or something like that. I know that Mutemath uses synths, but just sub. it for a guitar or something.

I totally just did.  I really dig their other three records, but Doolittle remains unremarkable to me save Debaser.  I even bought it on RB hoping to rekindle (I did sort of like it at one point) any kind of enjoyment I got from it.  It didn't and now I'm bitter about wasting that $20.  Gimme dat Bossanova.

Zeppelin and Pink Floyd for the classic rocks not included yet I want. I'm finally happy about AC/DC going to Rock Band 2.

For newer music, The White Stripes, Green Day, Korn, System of A Down (which is coming to RB2), The Vines. Every other newer it seems like they got have in either game or DLC.

I would love tool in RB, but i feel like they wouldn't want their music to be taken so lightly in a video game. Maynard seems to keep his music far away from mainstream (no itunes, no videos on tv)

I'd love to see some Matt Good come about.  It would have to be some songs from Matthew Good Band, as everything he's done on his own wouldn't quite be as well placed in Rock Band.  There are plenty of songs from Beautiful Midnight that would be great, maybe not incredibly challenging solo but would be great with a band.

As a song though, 'Sultans of Swing' is on the top of my list.  A great band song all around.
I always forget about the absence of Dire Straits in every Guitar Hero game, both Rock Bands and all of the DLC and how that's really strange and STUPID.
