Anyone having issues? I'm playing on Xbox. It's weird. The game looks like it runs at 15 fps at all times except when my car is off the ground. It will go from looking like 60 fps to the moment the wheels hit the ground it plummets to the point where it's almost unplayable. Haven't seen anyone else mentioning issues and ive only gotten in games with PC players so far.

I've had it completely lock up for almost 5 seconds too in the middle of the game. Then it unfreezes. Very strange.

I've played around 5-10 matches after the update and haven't noticed anything different. I'm on PS4, though.

Unless they just released a patch within the past couple days, I can't say I've had that problem with the Xbox One version. The frame rate is pretty bad on a couple of the stages, seemingly even more so when playing 4v4 (the one where it rains is particularly bad even with the weather effects turned off, and moving the camera also makes things real rough), but still not as bad as you're describing.

I've never had issues with the frame rate on PS4 at all though.

Edit: Oh, for some reason the PS4 didn't autmatically pull the update for Rocket League, and I just now noticed there is indeed a new update when trying to launch the game.

Either came out today or yesterday I believe (downloaded it just now before I played). Rumble update I think it's called? One of the older stages had a bunch of new rain effects on it. I thought that was the issue but I played another game on an old map that had no changes and it still had frame rate issues.

I've actually played on PS4, Xbox and PC. PS4 and Xbox do have a bit of frame issues here and there but nothing too bad. What I played tonight on Xbox, though, was pretty horrendous.

Guess I'll wait and see what's up if anyone else is saying anything. I did see someone on gamefaqs saying their game was freezing up randomly as well but he/she didn't mention frame rate issues.

Just booted up the Xbox, and under the "Community" section there's an official Rocket League post telling people to grab the update, and if you scroll down the comments section, it looks like a lot of people are complaining about the frame rate. So you're definitely not alone.

Good to know! And apparently they are working on a fix. Still weird how the frame rate works since it's fine unless my car touches the ground.
