I'm guessing the guys who are actually practicing together for this are going to win. But it would be doubly hilarious if west still managed to dominate.

I'm cheering on the altered GBEast but I'd still predict West taking it this time too. Definitely going to be a closer match this time.

Dan is too good at did game in relation to everyone else. Expect it to be closer than lat time doe.

My love for Vinny knows no bounds so I will hope our heroes from the East vanquish the great Dirty Dan Ryckert with his teammates Sleepy Brad and Organizing Jeff.

If I've learned one thing from watching GB play competitive games it's to never bet against Dan. Not that I think he's a more skillful player or anything, but his luck combined with his competitive spirit makes for a winning combo.

I think GBeast will win this time. Vinny has been practicing and nothing can stop the power of Vinny.

Dan is just too good at the game to be honest. I don't think GBeast wins a single game. I do expect it to be closer though.

I've been watching Dan's streams, he's solid. I have no idea how much Jeff and Brad have played since the liveshow. As for GBEast, they said they've been practicing together so I have no doubt they've progressed a fair amount. Vinny had some brief streaming surrounding the last VinnyVania, and there's improvement there.

Overall it's tough to call without having seen 4 of the 6 participants in action recently, but given Dan's demonstrable skill and Jeff's high game IQ, I'm betting on West again, but I won't be surprised if East take a game or two. Get hype!

Yep. I'm voting for the West and it's purely based on Dan. He was already leagues ahead of everyone else playing. Jeff did a great job being his second and Brad already did a great job being on defence.

I don't see Alex, Vinny and Austin winning in the end even if they've been training. I think they'll win a few games and they won't get as much of a beating as last time but I still think the West are going to win overall.

I know that Jeff hasn't touched the game since the last match, via the Bombcast.

I'd like beast to win but they're just not as good at the game.

I'm wagering it'll be a repeat win by GB West but probably not a total blowout.

Secretly hoping for a GB East win just so that we can get a rubber match in the future to decide once and for all the superior Rocket League office.

Not GBeast because they don't have Dan Ryckert on their team. And Dan is obviously far and away the best on staff at video games.

Between Brad's defense and Dan & Jeff's offense, I would wager that GBwest still edges this one out over the GBeasts. I expect a much closer contest, however.

G-Beast all the way. They got robbed last time. Team west had an unfair advantage in having 3 seperate TVs.

In my opinion the first round of this didn't count because that is such a big disadvantage so this is the first battle between the two of them.

In my heart G-Beast is the real winner.

Gotta root for GBEast. Hopefully they get another TV. I'd also like to see a 4v4 with Jason playing for GB SF and Jeff Bakalar on GBEast

I think it's probably going to be West again, but maybe all the training Vinny and Co. did will actually pay off. Who knows.

Well...blimey. I was totally off mark with my predictions! West had problems out there. Dan's 1v1 prowess not translating so well to 3v3, and general lack of communication all round. A shame Jeff wasn't feeling well, hope he didn't have to force himself through those matches.

Most of West's goals felt to me like isolated flashes of individual skill rather than the culmination of teamwork, and the lack of communication meant there wasn't much change in strategy as the matches went on, felt more like Jeff and Brad just shaking off the rust. East had fantastic defence, so many moments where Jeff/Dan lined up a nice shot that was swiftly deflected. When knuckling down they pulled out some impressive comebacks, and they all seemed to switch between roles as necessary.

Given how tonight went as a result of dedicated team practice from GBEast, I'm wondering if the rubber match might be even more slanted in East's favour since I'm not sure how motivated Brad and Jeff would be to engage in similar training. Hope I'm wrong though!

Man. It's late at night but I'm awake because I'm still feeling hyped about the match. That was some 1980 Miracle on Ice level stuff.

Sounds like i'll only be playing this against bots then if it requires this kind of fine tuned communication/coordination. Also i suck at it anyway but thats neither here nor there. Oh well, congrats to east and hopefully vinny didn't use that obnoxious voice modulation crap too much.
