Not the level 10 Blockbeard, but the level 80.
I've tried everything, and at most I grind him down to half his health, but seriously, this guy is insane.
I mean how do you damage him while he shots rockets, ligtning, laser guided boxes, and finally his infinite pile of minion.
Please help.

Level 80 is driving me CRAZY.

I've never been more annoyed at a game, so many times i got him to the last bar and got killed by a single stray block. Managed it though. Power Ups are your friend basically. Homing missiles are the best, if you get 2 of 3 of these in the game you can spam him to death. Next best I'd say is the 3 x rockets power up.

Strategy:
-Always stay on the move, if you stop he will zap you with his laser.
-Just keep going around the outside of the level, I chose to go anti clockwise, probably would work the other way just the same. This keeps the enemies together as best as possible.
-Pick off any minions / blocks that come your way, if you keep avoiding them they'll just build up and build up till there are too many.

In my case- luck (after 20 deaths).

It really sucks because you can play really conservatively and shoot down every crate and play for minutes and minutes, only to get zapped by his electric attack for an instant kill when he's off the screen!  What the fuck is that?

That battle is so fuckin cheap! I just ran around grabbing upgrades, using them then running for more

I did it last night.  I kind of got lucky, kept finding good powerups like lock on and triple rockets.  Took me about 25 tries or so.

Yeah, I did it a couple weeks ago, just kept on trying. The power ups were life savers though.
