Overview
The game offers both turn-based strategy and RPG elements for levelling up a wide range of characters. You begin each level by hiring between one and six heroes, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Some use weapons and some magic, but they all have a widely different attack pattern giving you great options for optimizing your group and getting those killer combos.
You can manage your formations and battle your way down the gauntlet, slaying a range of different enemies, each with their own attack patterns, gaining gold and upgrades to keep you progressing through the levels. Several of the levels end with a boss fight where you must strive to beat down their massive HP bar while trying to stay alive while getting bombarded with their heavy attacks.
