Ryu ga Gotoku 1&2 HD Edition is a pair of Japanese only high definition ports of the original two PS2 Yakuza games, released years before they later received remakes in the form of Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2. Apart from improved graphics and the addition of trophies, it also features many gameplay improvements such as faster loading times, better inventory management and a checklist system to show which items the player has already bought in shops and restaurants.
