Hey guys,
Do you think Saints 2 will be different then GTA4 as intended?
Because after seeing the footage, it seems that they intend to do something
differently then gta4, by making it more brutal cartoony and less realistic then GTA4
was aiming for.
Do you think it will be different? is there room for both of them?

Extremely different, Saints Row 2 looks insane

It seems way more fun than GTA4.

Very different. I liked how GTA IV was trying to be more realistic, but I also know I'm going to like SR2's cartoonish gameplay just as much.

It ditches the personal touches that made GTA so dramatic.  Any game that revives your homies by pouring a forty on them is good enough for me.  I hope they get liscensing from Steel Reserve!

definitly room for both, both give you a different experiance

It's not as pompous as GTA IV, SR2 doesn't take itself to seriously.

Saint's Row 2 has a very different style and think it looks llike it's going in the right direction.

i like saints row more then gta4 because in Gta4 they took out all the customization from san andreas so i can bet that saints row 2 will be awesome

It's not TOTALLY different.  It's just taking the sandbox concept in a different direction.  Let's face it, Saint's Row didn't invent this type of gameplay and story telling, but here's hoping Saint's Row 2 improves on the dullness that set in with GTA IV.
