    You can but you both have to activate the character based stuff, one person putting invincibility on won't make both invincible.  Keep this in mind if you want to torture your friend. ;)

    You can do it, but I'm pretty sure it disables achievements.

    Yes-sir-ee, you can use cheats in Co-op. 
     
    Oh god, memories of running away from cars with my chum on Evil Cars in Low Gravity with Pratfalls.
