So there's a 3 megabyte update for Saints Row: The Third on the Xbox 360, and I assume for the other platforms as well. I was curious if anybody knew what this patch/update was for, exactly? I looked on the PC and it looks like their update was for Direct X 10/11 support, and the only other notes I found were for the PC version, too.

That would be nice. I'm 2 achievements away from S ranking and one of them is complete act 2, which I've already done twice.

@GlenTennis: After downloading the patch im still missing a whole section of story achievements. So I guess we're going to be missing those achievement for a little while longer.

Not sure, but I never noticed the AI traffic trying to use the bridge ramps as part of their route before the update :/

They constantly drove into the bridge ramps for me so I don't think thats anything new.

Same here.

I've literally only played an hour or so since I updated the game. I didn't know if the changes were minor fixes or significant changes. I assume not since it was so small.

@Humanity: @Abyssfull: I guess I wasn't paying attention to it. So it's only Bethesda that updates their games with new bugs then :P

Probably some of the fixes that are not PC specific from the PC patch that was released this monday.

General

- Fixed a situation where the game can sometimes crash when re-entering the Mixtape Menu after adding ALL songs to Mixtape playlist then backing out of the menu.

- Fixed the player being unable to select the Kobra with the mouse in the "Pistols" selection of their Weapon Cache.

- Fixed a situation where if a player purchases every piece of clothing, the Wardrobe menu may become unresponsive or some clothing items may vanish.

- Fixed an issue where the RC Gun Self-Destruct button can become unresponsive if a user binds the "Grenade Toss" action to the non-default key.

- Fixed a situation where if a player maps a QuickTime Event button to Mouse 4 or Mouse 5, the QTE may not show the correct button.

- Fixed a situation where the "Activate Cheat?" prompt can sometimes fail to warn a user that their auto-save will be disabled when cheats are activated.

- Fixed a freeze where if a player is using a controller, and attempts to get back into the game by pressing the "Start" button while in the control schemes menu.

- Added multiple voice chat optimizations during online and LAN play.

- General sound optimizations.

Eyefinity Specific

- Fixed a situation where if a player is at Saints HQ and zooms in with sniper rifle, graphical corruption can occur when moving the camera.

- Corrected issues related to UI items being cutoff at 3840x1024 resolution.

Co-Op Specific

- Added a correction for the "Partners in Crime" achievement not properly tracking all user progress in co-op.

- Centered the "UP" button during "Tiger Escort", when a client’s computer is asked to "scratch the tiger".

The achievement bugs are not retroactive, but this patch fixed it, and should also fixed random disconnects from Xbox live.

"A patch has been released for Xbox 360 containing a fix for this (360 achievements not unlocking). Please note that this patch is not retroactive, so you will need to earn any missed achievements again."

Slightly related: I was sure there was a STAG assassin DLC pack released this week. Was that some weird dream?
