Having played the previous episode in this season of Sam & Max, The Penal Zone, I was both hopeful but skeptical as well.The question was how good can Telltale replicate the unique "Time Warping" from the first episode, and that it still stays fresh.Thankfully for us, the fans, they went a different route. The story picks up immediately after the first episode, with Sam & Max finding a pair of skeletons that look very similar to theirs.Sam quickly concludes it can't be theirs, and soon ...1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
The second chapter of Sam and Max's third season is possibly the most inspired in the series. It all stems from the premise, which is rather brilliant. At the end of the first episode, Sam and Max discover what appears to be their own skeletons locked in a struggle, but they soon learn it's a couple of their ancestors, Sameth and Maximus, and find a series of films detailing their exploits along with a projector.
