Though the game is flawed, the vast majority of levels, wide vocab for creativity AND the buggy movement should prove a great ER. Anyone thinks so too?
Scribblenauts
Game » consists of 4 releases. Released Sep 15, 2009
Developed by 5th Cell Media, Scribblenauts is a puzzle-action game for the Nintendo DS in which players can spawn thousands of objects from a vast database to aid in solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles... or just dicking around in silly and hilarious ways. The choice is yours!
Should Scribblenauts be the next ER
Nope.
Endurance run requires more than a couple seconds of action. Longer stages require trial and error.
Not exactly ER material.
People forget that the idea behind the Endurance Run was to see how long the GB crew can get through a game. It turns out that they got invested in the first one they picked and hence the Persona 4 Endurance Run. However that doesn't mean Endurance Run's have to be JRPG's. It could be any game. However Scribblenauts I don't see any good reason why they should.
Come to mention it, they didn't even have a Quick Look of it up. I think they're pretty much over and one with that game anyway.
They could probably make an Endurace Run of reading out all of the emails and posts that have been made about the next ER that'd probably match the Persona 4 one in terms of length.
Considering there's a review out and a near unanimous consent on the Bombcast that they're all frustrated by it, I'd say the chances are slim to none.
c'mon, enough of these threads. They've already openly mocked this type of -insert game name here- Endurance Run. They are perfectly competent to make their own choices as to what the next ER will be, IF there's going to be another one.
I don't think they've ever even quick-looked a DS game, let alone done anything more ambitious...
Also, say NO to Scribblenauts!
" What? No. Absolutely not. This makes no sense. "This.
Please people, just forget about the endurance run for a while. When the GB crew are ready, another one will begin. This probably wont be for quite a while and rightfully so. It takes time to recover from an adventure as epic as Persona 4. :P
I'd very much enjoy watching a two person commentary of a Scribblenauts playthrough and if anyone knows of such a thing, it would be much appreciated. Making it an endurance run, as enjoyable as I would find it, sounds like a very bad idea. I don't think any of the staff could endure it past the first episode.
Whatever the next game that is going to be a part of the ER, it isn't going to be until next year. So, don't worry about it until then.

No, simply because loads of people will start saying 'NO YOU ASSHOLES YOU GOTTA DO IT LIKE THIS, MOTHERFUCKING BITCHES ON A COWSHIT PIE!'. "I don't think that can happen with a game like Scribblenauts. "
" @FluxWaveZ said:Persona 4 is a JRPG. There are always ways to do everything better and optimize one's performance in those games. But Scribblenauts is wide open to various types of solutions. One way to do something is not better than the other since you arrive at the same goal, since it's divided by levels and since it's not an open world." @dbz1995 said:With Persona 4, even though Jeff and Vinny were progressing, people still said that they were doing it wrong.
