Is there a discord for Giant Bomb fans to gather and plunder ion the high seas?

There isn't one, but now is a great time for someone to make a GB Community Sea of Thieves Discord server. It's a lot better than trying to exchange gamertags through a forum topic.

When someone makes one, ping me here and I'll pin it to the Sea of Thieves forum.

I think an Xbox Club might be potentially useful for hooking up on-system... Assuming folks choose to play on Xbox. I suppose I could try to set one of those up if people were interested. Just don't want to step on anyone's toes... Er... Peglegs.

So I just went ahead and made a Club on Xbox. I'm not sure if there's a way to post links or whatever but I can start adding Gamertags.

If you want to search for the Club in-app or on console just search for "Shiver Me Duders". Seek ye the sign of the Dread Pirate Davis.

I currently have it set to public but if need be things can change, etc.

So it kinda seems like even though the group is public I still need to approve invites. This was unexpected. I apologize if invites go slow or completely cease while I am, say, sleeping or whatever. But I'll keep an eye on stuff and check in on this thread from time to time to make things as easy as possible for folks.

@flameboy84: Yeah. I fully understand how this game is designed and all but we're all a like-minded folk and we just want to have a good time... And I also live in a situation where I can't always be on the mic when it's time to play games :p

Just an FYI for folks getting in on hour one: There's a chance that Sea of Thieves will not appear in the Game Pass channel on Xbox. It certainly didn't for me. Don't panic, though. If you just find the game in the Store it should flag as "Free with Game Pass" and you should be good to go.
