Sean Darcy is one of the first characters protagonist Michael Thorton meets in Alpha Protocol, being in charge of the gadget orientation.
Through e-mails, Thorton can learn that Darcy is romantically interested in his colleague, Mina Tang, and that she rebuffs his advances. Darcy also wants to be more involved in field missions, and is irritated that his father, a senator, has intervened in this matter for fear of seeing him get hurt.
Darcy is jealous of Michael the moment he meets him, and it's not hard to get on his bad side. However, if you do get on his good side, it really doesn't matter, because you still have to end up fighting him during the game's final mission.
