Sega is a long-running Japanese company responsible for arcade hits like Space Harrier, home consoles like the Dreamcast, and franchises such as Sonic the Hedgehog.

I wonder if Sega ever was paid by PBS?

I was watching the horrible pbs show Ghostwriter (for nostalgia) and I noticed the arcade controllers (not sticks for some reason) are sega genesis controllers (or cheap knockoffs).
Start at 1:04 if you want to start the big "showdown".

I doubt it. Commercials and tv shows use game controllers all the time. Mostly you see 360 or Ps3.
