    Overview

Serpent Showdown is a 3D Arena Fighting game for PC and Nintendo Switch. Players compete as silly snakes wearing cardboard armor, and using crayon-swords?! With both local and online multiplayer, Serpent Showdown allows players to challenge each other in this lighthearted battle-for-the-ages.

    History

Serpent Showdown started as a school project at the University of Southern California's Games program (USC Games). Kai Nyame, the director of the project initially teamed up with Calista Nelson, Ana Solimano and Nicholas Roush to start development. With a team of 15 students, the group worked on the project up until the 2020 USC Games EXPO where they had their first public showing of the project.
