    Overview

    Sheffield was a psychologist in charge of Sera's mental condition. Although he presented himself as kind and caring to Sera, his true personality was self-centered and manipulative, and his reason for joining the God Project was because he himself desired the power of God. Sheffield often clashed with his colleague Heat O'Brien, who was genuinely concerned about the way Sheffield was pushing Sera in the experiments.

    He was the template for the AI named Serph, who inherited Sheffield's appearance. Because the personalities of the AIs were based on Sera's singular perception of the people she knew, the AI Serph was kind and selfless.
