Serve Interactive started as a software consulting service company in 2008, founded by Andre Anderson. He began working on the company's first game, Mechalite Tactics, then quickly followed it with Mechalite D.A.T. in 2011. It was a free-to-play, browser based, tactics game. As a small game studio with a growing number of members and contributors, Serve Interactive took lessons learned from Mechalite D.A.T. in 2013 and began development of Gunsuit. After three years in development, they released an Alpha build of Gunsuit at PAX South on January 29, 2016 which was well received by the gaming community. The company is known for its slogan of "Suit up and play" in regards to its mech-based tactics games.
