    Shemyaza in human guise

Shemyaza appears in Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers as a demon of the Tyrant race. His design bears many similarities to his fellow Grigori Azazel, sporting a devilish tail, bat-wing motif, and grandiose posture. Additionally, his body is seemingly covered in eyes, a nod to his station as leader of the Grigori, otherwise referred to as the "Watchers".

Over the course of the main story he assumes a human disguise in order to watch over Algon Microelectronics as manager, under the direct orders of Nishi (himself the human form of Azazel). Shemyaza is slain by the Protagonist and Nemissa shortly after revealing his demonic nature.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron

Shemyaza (alternately spelled "Semyaza") is featured in El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron as a former Council Elder and later leader of the Grigori. He spends much of the game confined to a life support system, having been severely wounded during the fall after stealing the Fruits of Wisdom and bestowing them onto mankind. It is later revealed, upon visitation by Enoch and Ishtar, that he had succumbed to his injuries long before the events of the game's narrative.

    Shin Megami Tensei IV

Shemyaza appears in Shin Megami Tensei IV, for the first time since his appearance in Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers over a decade ago, alongside the fallen angel Azazel.
