Best version of Reach Out to the Truth (Poll)
Battle themes are a very important aspect of turn based RPGs, at least to me, and Persona 4's was undoubtedly very popular. Because of this, many "official" variations of the theme exist and I'm curious to see which of them resonates more with people.
My choice goes to Persona 4 Arena's, because I find that it's a more refreshing take on the original compared to the others and it fits Yu as a character surprisingly well.
I like all of them but the Arena version. This is because it is the most different all the others are interchangeable.
I'm partial to the Reincarnation version. The original cut off at just the right time; after that, we get to see the lyricist suffer a stroke. A beautiful, yet clearly insane stroke.

The First Battle version is my favorite, if that says anything in particular about me.

I'm pretty sure it'd take three days to finish the entire thing
Original is fine, just fine. Reincarnation just sounds like a live version. I feel like anything that gives the vocals more lift just exposes exactly how incredibly Engrishy it sounds.
Having subtitles on the Animation songs just makes them incredibly hysterical.

Actually it would take more than 4.
First Battle is the only one I keep on my ipod. Honestly the battle theme was one of my least favorites on the soundtrack, though that's typically the case because almost no song stays good after you've heard it a thousand times throughout the game.
For the record: This one is probably my favorite version of Reach Out to the Truth (Which I guess would technically be Live Band Reincarnation feat. Lotus Juice.) Also, apologies for the quality, it's not the best but it's the only one on YouTube as far as I'm aware.

The only real answer:
(I picked the Original though the First Battle version is pretty good too)
I'm glad somebody else thought to bring this up. The song itself is fantastic, but the name is absolutely FANTASTIC.
It's actually kind of hard to choose between the official versions though. I prefer the first battle to the generic battle version for that extra bit of buildup, but there's nothing wrong with the shorter one at all. The Live Band version is pretty great, but doesn't really seem like it would work for the battle system of the game. The P4Arena version is pretty great too, and fits with the fighting game format. What it really boils down to, though, is which has the best keyboard, and that has to go to the Reincarnation version. Besides, that one tells you to "quit that shizzle" which is a great lyrical choice.
