Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 is a role-playing game developed and published by Atlus for the PlayStation 2. It is chronologically the fifth installment in the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. Like its predecessor, its gameplay combines a traditional role-playing game with elements of a social simulation. Its critical and commercial success spawned a sizable media empire, including several spinoff titles.
I dunno, that's still using dialogue from the game. If these were to be made, which they wont, they'd have to contain no images of P4 or anything that is Atlus's IP. That's why I went with a Jeff quote. Although I guess attaching 'Vinny' on the end stops it being dialogue.

I disagree. The sentance "popularity leads to intimacy" isn't copyright, that would be stupid.
You can easily go to one of those sites that make T-Shirts. I don't believe all those WoW T-Shirts on Jinx are liscensed by Blizzard; as well as PurePwnage had a mock WoW T-Shirt and they were making money off of those too without issue.
I think anything that didn't contain an actual image of a Persona 4 character or the words Persona 4 on it is fine. There are plenty of those sites that make T-Shirts for you with your own design like CAFEPress.com
1100+ views and almost 60 posts on this thread, not too shabby, id say the idea of ER shirts has piqued a few people's interest. Even if they never happen there were some pretty hilarious designs.

I did say I wasn't sure mate, just trying to point people in the right direction, that's all. Take EarthBound, full of tiny little references etc, and it's not gonna come out like that either. I'm pretty sure the safest route if people were gonna make these would be to reference the actual Endurance Run, not the game itself, like Endogene's.

I mailed Vinny an idea I had of a Persona 4 tracking jacket (in #50 they said, they would like to buy one): Similar design like the original one, but G and B in front and at the back a round, stylized Giant Bomb logo with "Persona 4 Endurance Runner" around it.
Whaddaya think of it? I would so buy one, just like most other suggestions mentioned here.

Anecdotally the ER has sold quite a few copies of P4 (both P4 and P3 in my case). Atlus can't be too upset about it. It's free advertising basically. "
I think Atlus might have been annoyed if they started a P4 Endurance Run the day the game came out, but starting it when they did is nothing but free advertising.
I cant decide if Vinny was making fun of us on ER #51? Every design on here has been solid gold though. Makes me wish I wasn't so Hamhanded with photoshop.
Even he must admit, he never thought this ER would last more than a week, much less people clamoring for Merch.

This is already an extraordinary thread. Excellent work everyone. My favorite is probably "You don't have enough Courage" and King Frost. Would proudly wear either.

A closer comparison would be a shirt that just says "Whales". There's no meaning that could be gathered from the words "Endurance Run", except maybe to trick people into thinking you're active.
