That you dont shoot yourself in the face to get your magic on. I would personaly like to evokers back rather than the cards you slice.

I haven't played Persona 4 yet, but does it make sense in the context of this game? In P3 it made sense because the game explains there was some cientific research around the shadows, dark hour, personas, etc. Therefore they created the evokers, to enable them to use the persona's powers. If there's no cientific alibi in this one, I don't see how the evokers could come back.

But I do agree that the evokers were awesome.

Yea I was a little sad about that. Still though it's Persona! Evokers or not, it's going to be awesome!

I'm also a little sad about it -- the shooting self in the head bit was one of the most amusing things about Persona 3.  The way it's done in Persona 4 is all right, I guess, but not nearly as cool.  Definitely a step down.

I loved the evokers, but it was known for a long time that they wouldn't be in P4. At first I was kind of sad to see them go, but now it doesn't bother me at all...it makes sense that they aren't in this game.

It doesnt really strain the experience for me though. Evokers were good, but yeah, it does make sense why they're not present here.

It's not really a staple of the series like Chocobos to Final Fantasy but it's still something you have to adjust to.

The evokers' method was frankly a little disturbing to me.  I'm glad to see it gone in the fourth.

It was disturbing, but contextually it made a lot of sense.

Evokers aren't a key component of the Persona franchise, though they were important to the context of Persona 3.  In Persona 4, the use of Evokers would make no sense, given that the reasoning behind the P4 cast's Persona awakenings and the setting in which they're used are very different from P3.

I was sad to see it go, but when I learned that it was only in 3, I didn't feel so bad about it. I mean, it was awesome to see kids shooting themselves for the first time, but then I stopped noticing it at all.

I would like to see them stab themselves in the heart to summon personas in the next one though.

Aw man! And I was way pumped to see some head shooting action in Jeff and Vinny's Persona 4 playthrough.

I did think that was an interesting way to use the characters in 3.
