During the fight on the moon, I got mad that WALTER didn't come out.

I don't comment much, but I just want to say I love features like these! For games that haven't gotten much attention but perhaps deserve more

If I remember right, this game somehow gets more and more insane. I don't remember how it happens but I know it does.

@dharris2451: That's one of my favorite pieces of music. The 4th movement from Antonin Dvorak's 9th Symphony, "From the New World". I'm surprised at how often it pops up.

I remember finding it very strange that a year later Killer Is Dead also featured a boss fight on the moon set to Symphony No. 9 “From the New World”. Assumed it was pretty fast reference to Asura, but maybe they were both inspired by something I’m unfamiliar with.

Here to say thanks for another episode. To echo Ben, the art in this game is great. And though I find it video gamey, with the Japanese slant, I like the material and where it goes.

A nitpick, but I wish the game in the Boss fight had used music with a more Eastern slant (not that generic garbage guitar), but something more original. Asura's wrath has some unique themes and deserves as much from the cultures it is drawing from.

Neil Armstrong had a tape recording of "From the New World" with him on the Apollo 11 mission. Might have something to do with it :)

I'm really impressed how great this game looks still, in the cutscenes, the distinct style really makes it work. And while I don't care about gameplay at all, not my cup of tea, I really dig the world and techno eastern-mysticism theme.

If Lemonade is juice then my favorite juice is bourbon (corn juice).

Also has any other game used New World Symphony so effectively?

Lemonade is sugar water, with added lemon flavor from (hopefully) lemon juice.

The greatest enemy is the Y button.

Coming in here way late to say that lemonade probably isn't juice but eh fuck whatever who cares, and also that turtles can in fact flip themselves over so long as they don't already have an injury that prevents it.
